Putting people at the center of AI. A framework for teams who build content and code in the scripture space with AI, and stay in command of it.
Human at the HelmÂ
The Problem
AI output looks confident when it is wrong and polished when the reasoning is circular. Left unchecked it proposes work nobody asked for and substitutes its judgment for the person's. That is not a defect to be patched; it is the nature of the tool.
Â
The deeper risk is that it offers to do the work for us, and if we accept, we lose the thing that mattered.
A translation team that did not translate their own Scriptures has not been served. They have been bypassed.
Expertise is built step by step, by doing work a little beyond what you can already do. Hand those steps to a machine and the ladder is gone. AI cannot substitute for the expertise it prevents.
What It Does
Four working disciplines, shipped as apparatus that runs rather than as advice: the person specifies behavior before anything is built; the AI states what it will change before it changes it; each project carries written decisions the AI must read; and the person stays the architect. A single command reasserts authority when the AI starts steering rather than executing.
Â
Everything installed is plain text, so it applies across AI tools and can be applied by hand. Adopting it is not a dependency on any AI company. The deliverable is mentored people, not a manual — the judgment involved is learned rather than documented.
Where It Sits
First in the stack, and underneath everything after it. Each item below is built by people working this way, and the framework changes as that work keeps testing it.
